CTET, Central Teacher Eligibility Test that was to be conducted by CBSE on Jan 29, 2012 has been postponed in the states of Manipur, Punjab and Uttarakhand. All these states have scheduled General Election for Legislative Assemblies in January.

CBSE has therefore postponed CTET to May 05, 2012 (Saturday) for the following centers in these states.

1. Manipur

a. Imphal (Code 46)

2. Punjab

a. Bhatindha (Code 52)

b. Jalandhar (Code 53)

3. Uttarakhand

a. Dehradun (Code 64)

b. Haldwani (Code 65)

c. Pant Nagar (Code 66)

d. Roorkee (Code 67)

4. Chandigarh

a. Chandigarh / Panchkula / Mohali (Code 11)

 

The candidates appearing from the above examination centers are advised to preserve the

Admit Cards to appear for the postponed examination on May 05, 2012 (SATURDAY).

In the remaining states the CTET-JAN 2012 examination will be held as per the Schedule on

Jan 29, 2012 (Sunday).
