What is CTET?
Central Board of Secondary Education started CTET for candidates who wish to teach at schools affliated to CBSE. The maiden CTET was conducted on June 26, 2011 followed by second CTET on January 29, 2012. You can access all the details on these pages:

CTET Application Fee:
General/OBC: Rs. 500 (per paper) or Rs. 800 (both papers)
Others: Rs. 250 (per paper) or Rs. 400 (both papers)
The application fee needs to be paid in the form of a DD in favour of the Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education drawn in any Nationalized Bank payable at Delhi. Write your Registration Number, Name, Address, and Mobile/Telephone Number on the back of the Demand Draft.
How to Apply for CTET?
Candidates need to apply online for CTET exam. Print the computer generated application and send it to the following address by Registered/Speed Post :
